So, am I the last listening to DW audios to realise that Rassilon is voiced by the same man who played the President of Pete's World Britain in "Rise of the Cybermen"? Because I feel like I am.

In the episode they say it's February 1st of the current year without giving the actual year. But then later Jackie says that her official biography says that she was born on the same day as Cuba Gooding, Jr (who incidently seems to have been born a month later in the AU, likely someone saw the date 01/02/68 and read it as February 1 rather than January 2-shoddy but understandable). Now since she's pretending to be 39 and born the same day as CBJ that makes the year 2007.

Should have just said it outright, but they don't seem to want to be to specific with the dates.

Now that I've calmed down, I'll have to say that I did have few problems with this episode. The main one being scenery chewing. Can the BBC really afford to replace it all? Still when the episode ended I felt like I wanted to know more. I can't wait to see what happens.

Argggh!

Why can't it be next week already?

*moans*

I loved that. This may be another example of my being hard to displease though.

Hum, after realizing my dislike of TGITF, I've decided to go spoil myself on "Rise of the Cybermen" to make myself feel better. Normally, I hate spoilers, but I think this is a special case. "The Girl In the Fireplace" was the first episode of Doctor Who that I disliked (As I said in an earlier post, I'm hard to displease). Well, at least I'm actually interested in RotC in the first place.

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention about TGITF, I didn't like Sophia Myles all that much (admitedly, she creeps me out a bit) but I found her a bit wooden.

Also, watched most of "The Deadly Assasain" last night and I have to say that I mostly enjoyed it though I stopped with about twenty minutes left. I figured that when I started to find Tom Baker attractive, it was time to stop (okay, I'm half-kidding though I actually did find him attractive).
