One Angry Veronica
Veronica's reaction to jury duty was spot on (I know thats how I felt when I got it--although I was able to get out of it). I hated the asshat business guy, but I know in the end that he's probably right. I liked how they mentioned the nearby college (crosses fingers for third season), because I was wondering how they were going to keep the whole mystery atmosphere if she went away to, I don't know, Stanford. Because then we'd have to assume that the whole of California is as much of a steaming cesspool as Neptune (which I refuse to believe is possible).
The Death.
Ah Meg, I will miss you but...
WOOOOHOOOO, none of the main cast died!!!
*does the "none of the main cast died dance"*
Actually, the only one I wouldn't have "missed" would have been Weevil (meaning I think the show could continue without to much "warping") Because the deaths of Duncan, Logan or Wallace would have had way too much of an effect for me to be comfortable with. As it was, I sort of knew that she was going to be die as soon as she said "If anything happens to me..."
In a mystery, those words are pretty much the death knell for the character who said it. That being said, if her parents didn't have something to do with Meg's death then I'll eat my cell phone. Though maybe that's too obvious. I do have one thing left to say, about deaths and that's "NO ONE ELSE CAN DIE!" This is not an emotional reaction, it's a writerly one. I think that there are way too many dead bodies around Neptune at the moment and they all need to be resolved (I know they most of them came from the bus crash, but still...)
Hey, some people will be happy to know that I almost liked Logan. Really. I felt really bad for him when he was watching the tape. Then I wanted to kick him for erasing them. I know other people saw them but still, it's looking more and more like they're going to let Aaron get off the hook (which would be awesome from a story point of view, not so good from the emotional).
I knew Leo was the one to still the tapes when I saw Max's name in the credits. And I liked that Keith covered for him somewhat (by not naming him as the thief) overall, I didn't want to hurt anyone after the show was over and...WALLACE IS BACK!!! WOOT! I knew he'd be back soon, but I didn't know it would be now. It's like the greatest present ever!! Enough with the ALLCAPS and !, I'm starting to sound like a twelve year old on AIM.
A little filler-y but satisfying nonetheless.
