Logan-Hate

Warning: the following post includes mentions of hatred towards Logan Echolls, Logan Huntzberger and general hatred of fictional characters named Logan.


You know, I've been thinking about this a lot and I've decided that there should be a Logan-hate community. Not just for VM Logan, but for all Logans in various types of fiction since it seems to be well known to novel/movie/television writers that the name Logan = asshat. I have no idea what this would entail, but it would be fun.

God yes, and they had been relatively good at keeping the L/V yuckiness down. Shame really. Also, this just might be through my filter of Logan-hate, but I really don't see the "awesome chemistry" that's supposed to exist between these to.

That's a fate too horrible to consider. I would need anti-nausea medication to make it through the show then.

Hmm, I keep meaning to watch Big Love, but I never feel like watching TV when it's on.

I'll second you there, although I don't know if I hate Logan/Wolverine as much because of his character or because he just seems to have completely hijacked the X-Men. And don't get me started on Logan Echolls...

Agreed! Agreed! I wish Logan Huntzberger would take Logan Echolls on one of those stupid Life and Death Brigade missions and they would both end up dead. I would do a happy dance. As far as LV are concerned, I get the feeling that he is pandering to the fans. Just like Wallace suddenly feeling bad for Logan and wanting to be his friend now. Contrived. I guess pretty much everybody on the show has to be a Logan fan now. I sound bitter but really it is the hatred spilling out of me mixed with bitterness for what the writers did to Duncan.

Ah, darling, Wolverine was my first and most enduring example of Logan Hate. Hmm, I gues there should be some rule about what would be considered "true Loganage". Something like "Character must be generally referred to as Logan" which would keep Wolverine in the mix.

And don't get me started on Logan Echolls
