Hum, after realizing my dislike of TGITF, I've decided to go spoil myself on "Rise of the Cybermen" to make myself feel better. Normally, I hate spoilers, but I think this is a special case. "The Girl In the Fireplace" was the first episode of Doctor Who that I disliked (As I said in an earlier post, I'm hard to displease). Well, at least I'm actually interested in RotC in the first place.

Oh and another thing I forgot to mention about TGITF, I didn't like Sophia Myles all that much (admitedly, she creeps me out a bit) but I found her a bit wooden.

Also, watched most of "The Deadly Assasain" last night and I have to say that I mostly enjoyed it though I stopped with about twenty minutes left. I figured that when I started to find Tom Baker attractive, it was time to stop (okay, I'm half-kidding though I actually did find him attractive).

I want to read spoilers for "Cybermen" so very much. But I've been trying to keep myself spoiler-free for all of my regular shows these days. Now, I'm more tempted to look at DW spoilers to see how much the next ep might aggravate me. I just want the Cybermen to be awesome, not get all obliterated and never mentioned again like the Daleks.

I started to feel weird about halfway through the "Robot" serial (Fourth's intro) for the same reason. It's his personality, I think. Anyone who can make me laugh - with such understated humor - as Four does, I find attractive.

Seriously, from the little I've seen, Four is awesome. Can you recommend any serials with him? I can't believe I was scared of him as kid. Though now I'm relunctant to watch any serials with Three because some mentioned that they thought Jon Pertwee looked like Bea Arthur and now I keep picturing him on the Golden Girls (my mind is very strange place to be sometimes).

Re: Cybermen. My spoilering made me feel better. It's actually looking pretty good. Though, again, I'm hard to displease so take anything I say with a grain of salt.

"Robot" is a good serial, for both him and Sarah Jane. Plus, you get to meet one of the coolest human secdonary characters - the Brigadier, the cat who is a part of UNIT with the Doctor. <3 the Brigadier. I've been skipping around A LOT where Four's concerned, so I've seen a little everywhere.

You've seen "The Deadly Assassin", which comes right after "Hand of Fear" (the infamous Doctor Dumps Sarah Jane serial, and I rec that, too). Barring the usual subpart special effects, I thought the story on TDA was rather strong. The Master really is the Moriarty to the Doctor's Holmes.

I'm in the process of watching "Genesis of the Daleks", that was highly rec'd to me by someone else. I love the Daleks, so I'm really enjoying it. Time Lords play a role in this as well.

All the serials in the Key To Time arc (which is just Four and Romana I traveling around for a whole season) are great. Esp. "The Ribos Operation", when Four is first intro'd to Romana. He's hilarious. "You put a hole in my TARDIS! Oh, don't worry, old girl, I'll fix you soon enough! ::kisses control panel::"

I've seen "City of Death", and I thought it was pretty good. It's Four and Romana II running around Paris in 1979, taking a vacation. But, of course, somebody has to screw up their holiday.

"Logopolis", his very last appearance - before regenerating into Five - was rather good. Then I'm biased towards anything that features the Master. And Five. :)

I might have to break down. One of my favorite serials so far - definitely one of the best Five stories - featured the Cybermen, "Earthshock".
