What I do find myself complaining about where the ep is concerned is the lack of logic and inconsistent characterization for Ten. The episode was a jumbled mess, and it was an extreme disappointment since it's writer gave us two of the best series one episodes - "The Empty Child" and "The Doctor Dances".
I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thought it didn't make sense (though to be honest, I'll admit I rather liked T&C, though I quite understand why you didn't). When I find something new to like I invariably go online and try to find people to talk about it with. And just as invariably I end up sick to my stomach with the amount wank, vitrol and sheer stupidity that goes on. I'll admit I expected a lot more from this episode because I did enjoy his two from last series so much, so I'm disappointed despite the fact that I really wasn't interest in the ep in the first place. I know he can do better so in peeves me that he didn't.
Re: The asexual thing, well I never subscribed to it because I've always known that the lack of overt romance was an editorial decision so I never really saw the need to fanwank it into a character trait.
