Hurrican Ivan
I do not like Hurricanes.
I do not like Hurricanes that are expected to spawn tornadoes.
I do not like Hurricanes that are expected to hit the state where I live.
That being said, I hope it's not that bad by the time it gets here (I'm about 200 hundred miles inland) but everyone seems to be so worried.
*signs*
I hope everything turns out okay.

Luckily, the tornadoes are really only expected on the eastern (and northern, I think) edge of the storm, and the latest tracking I saw made it seem as though Pensacola is the likely hit, so while you'd still get bad winds and rain, the tornadoes will probably pass you by.
(though I'm no meteorologist, just a media-junkie)
Either way, it sounds like a hell of a rough storm, and I'll keep my fingers crossed that you get through it safe and sound. Keep us posted, as electricity and safety allow! *hugs*

Thank you. I'm feeling really worried right now. The waiting seems to be the worst part. And watching what's happening doesn't make it better. The power company seems to think that as a best case scenario, the electricity should be off for a week or so.
