I've seen a lot of annoyance about the Writer's strike and I really don't understand it (no one I know online- rl aquaintances). Some people are a little annoyed that their entertainment will be interrupted and don't see why the efforts of some small group to be paid (somewhat)fairly for the work they do. I just can't find it in me to be annoyed by this strike

I know. I fully support the writers in this. I think a lot of people have no clue what the writers are asking for or what the issues are - that's the only way complaining makes sense. No one wants to see the strike, but I totally understand why it needed to be done. I just hope the writers get what they are asking for.

It's not as if the shows won't get written and aired eventually, you know? We may have to wait a little bit, yeah. Seriously - Delay gratification? Can't people do it anymore?
