A teeny, tiny bit image heavy.

Donna and the Doctor lead parallel lives for a significant part of this episode. They are both investigating the "Mysterious" Adipose Industries (really, the name gives away at least a little bit of what's going on with the company). The first thing I love is how they keep missing each other. It's almost (okay maybe it is) a farce. I love farce. I'm glad they didn't over do it with the missing each other because it would have eventually gotten repetitive

(Random crotch level shot).

Donna and the Doctor have much the same idea though Donna's route is a bit more direct than the Doctor's.

And involves fewer sparks.

Like mirror images, really.

Evil Super Nanny!

Intrepid Girl Reporter...who spends most of the episode tied up

*cough*Bullshit*cough*

I felt the urge to grab a mallet and start whacking.

The Doctor's reaction to a bit of flirting? Hilarious.

Poor Stacey but...OMG, they're so cute! I want an Adipose. A cute squishy Adipose to play with would be awesome. My sister doesn't think they're cute. Obviously, she's insane.

From the commentary, I learned this guy really owns this taxi and really is a taxi driver. How cool is that?

Also from the commetary, they go a little nuts about something important in this scene. I don't know what it is. And believe me, I paused it right then and looked.

Donna's mother obviously went to the same school of parenting that my grandmother did. *nods*

Wilf is awesome and totally thought of Four when I saw Donna's scarf. Originally this was supposed to be Donna with her Dad, but the actor died and they changed it to her granddad. It's really sad that they weren't able to shoot the scenes with Donna's dad even though they tried to move everything up so they good film it before he died. I really hope it is on the DVD as an extra.

*cuddles sad and lonely Doctor* It must be hard to be a motormouth when there's no around to talk to.

This entire episode showcase how similar the Doctor and Donna really are, without even having them know the other is there for half the episode.

I was so scared that they were going to find Donna, but it's Intepid Girl Reporter instead.

The whole "mime" sequence is gold. I love it so much.

And just when you think "Why aren't the bad guys noticing this?" You realise that they already have and are kinda waiting for them to finish. Genius.

And finally, they meet. And all is right with the world (well not quite, but it will be soon)

Partners in crime? More like Partners in Pinstripes. Hee.

Don't worry, Doctor. Sonic Screwdrivers are cooler than Sonic Pens any old day.

Nice catch there, Doctor! (It was kind of funny seeing them do this bit in the Confidential).

Smiley happiness at successful rescue FTW.

Leaving her tied up would have been just as effective...considering she's an idiot (Future reference IGR, when some one tells you to run...haul ass).

You can tell from the look on her face that Donna knows that this isn't going to be pretty.

*Crosses chest in sympathy* That couldn't have been comfortable for Catherine.

She's right, you know. He does look older. *pets Doctor some more*

I sort of love the little skipping Adipose. So Cute!

I know some people doubted it but Donna? Truly awesome.

And this is why Wilf wins at life. Awesome must run in the family.

Evita...Evita...Evita..

Wave away at the cute little fat babies. And I'm glad Donna called him on his attitude. Even if these babies were much cuter and less deadly than the last batch.

Some people don't know what's good for them until it's too late. Bye-Bye Super (villain) Nanny.

*Hee* He is a skinny streak of alien nothing, isn't he?
And now, I will replay my exact reactions at the collest moment of the episode:

*Sees blonde hair...Finds hair awfully familiar*

*Hypervintilates and prays a little*

*OMG, Rose! RoseRoseRoseRose! * Jumps around like an idiot *Doomsday music plays* Sniffles. I had read that she would appear in the first episode, but I was taking that with a huge grain of salt. Glad to be wrong.

No come back! You're supposed to stay and be cute so the Doctor won't be sad anymore, M'kay?

And after a little bit of soul-crushing, we have a moment that is a fascinating combination of Cheesy and Touching. Wilf's lovely and completely happy for Donna.
All in all a lovely episode. So much love and squee. And Rose!
